Management

Bobby Dobson received his M.S. in Forest Business and Investment from Auburn University, an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama, and a B.S. in Equine Science and Management from the University of Kentucky. 

Bobby has spent 10 years as a rural real estate broker with the bulk of those years involved in fundraising for agricultural and natural resource investments, most recently with timber management firm Larson & McGowin. Bobby was a founding board member of the San Antonio Chapter of Stewards of the Wild and is a Director of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. 

In early 2022, Bobby launched Taproot Investments with the intent to build a vertically integrated timber company in the Southeast. Bobby lives in Montgomery, Alabama with his wife Caroleene and his two daughters Philippa and Lydia.

An Auburn graduate and CPA, Brian Roth currently manages IndusTREE's financial activities. He has nearly 30 years of experience in financial management and consulting, including 12 years in energy and utility management with a national energy solutions company serving as VP of Operations and Director of Client Services while obtaining a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation.   

Brian has also served as financial officer for a wood bioenergy project development company and worked in project development, management oversight and public accounting with regional municipal consulting and accounting firms. Brian is a current board member of the Alabama Forestry Association, ForestPAC, and the AFA health insurance trust.
